The development of the $$$$$$$$$$$ project was announced in November 2012, among other things the project includes a park equipped to receive 35 milluon visitors, as well as the world's largest shopping mall, called "Mall of the World".
Bluewaters Island is planned to be one of the largest tourist hotspots in the world, featuring a demarcated retail, residential, hospitality and entertainment zones, and it will also include Dubai Eye, the world's largest Ferris wheel.
Dubai Water Canal
Dubai Water Canal will be connecting the Business Bay with the Arabian Gulf, going through the downtown Dubai. The project completion deadline is 2017. The waterway will be 3 km long and 80-120 meters wide. Besides everything else, it will be featuring 450 new restaurants as well as wide array of luxurious marinas for yachts.
As always with Dubai, these are only couple of things you can expect to see before 2020.
